Pirates and other treasure seekers, check out the new apparel from Amy Wild.  Amy hand-dyed American Apparel bras and underwear and screen printed a cool  “Treasure Island” inspired map on them.  This limited print comes in three colors, grab yours on Etsy, at Battery Street Jeans, or at our studio.

New Stuff and The Indian Princess Debut!

Hey everyone!

We’re back on the blog-o-sphere after a late fall hiatus.  But that doesn’t mean we haven’t been keeping busy.  Quite the contrary!  The custom work has been steadily coming in and we’ve been enhancing the shop to keep up with the demand.  Dan has been building stuff, new tables, drawers, and a new drying rack for screens.  Scott and our good friend/mechanical consultant Jonah have successfully upgraded our press from 4 to 6 colors and Scott also assembled a single color print station so we now have double the printing capabilities!  We also recently printed a job for our old friend Joe Dimeck.  You may remember him from RoneBreak.com and the Mallettstock Festival.  Lately he’s been managing a band down in Jersey called Indian Princess and we did some limited edition posters in collaboration with artist of the Unknown Paddy Charles.

If you happen to catch the band at a show pick up a poster and tell em Unknown Arts sent you. Their debut self-titled album can be downloaded immediately for whatever price you wanna pay!  Joe did a good job of describing the band so here’s a copy of what he told us:

“After many fun and dirty days in Brooklyn, spaced out over the course of a month or so, Indian Princess’ debut album is finally available for free download. For a band that consists of people under the age of 24, the collection of songs they produced is surprisingly mature. Breezy, soulful rock that has a comforting familiarity, but also a certain special charm that is kind of unexplainable–sort of like the name Indian Princess, which is odd yet quite fitting.”

We’ve got a copy of the album and give it the thumbs up!  Go get a copy today!  The posters will also be available on our Etsy store in the near future.

Speaking of Etsy, we’ve been printing some new shirts and taking a bunch of pics of everything.  We’re getting pretty close to a major update to our online store just in time for the holidays! Expect to see some new shirts from Dan, Scott, Phill, and Paddy plus a few other surprises.  We’ve been working on expanding our reach in the realm of retail sales and we’ll soon be selling our shirts at the Bern Gallery, the Clothing Line, and possibly Growing Vermont at the Davis Center in addition to Battery Street Jeans.  We should have another post soon to confirm all of this but in the meantime check out some recent Facebook fun!
